International Conference
“What does the future hold for international scientific cooperation for food safety?”
26 April 2017
Auditorium, Tokyo Women’s Plaza, Tokyo, Japan
Food safety issues do not respect national borders and scientific cooperation is increasing its importance to all the parties involved in food safety, not only to the national and international organisations.
Food Safety Commission of Japan, FSCJ, and European Food Safety Authority, EFSA, co-hosted the International Conference, in order to share the recognition concerning current challenges, activities and ways forward among risk assessment organisations as well as to discuss possible international cooperation in the area of food safety risk assessment.
Risk assessment organisations of Europe, South East Asia and Japan participated in this conference.
