The Food Safety Commission of Japan (FSCJ) has published risk assessments through the work of scientists since 2003 and provided risk assessment reports in PDF format in Japanese. We have also provided English summary for some chemical hazards. In order to share key toxicological data in those reports with the relevant stakeholders and to improve public access to key toxicological data, a chemical hazards toxicological evaluation database is established.
The database includes the following key toxicological information about food additives (including flavoring) and pesticides:

Genotoxicity;
Toxicological findings;
Point of Departure (Route, Test, Duration, Species, Endpoint, Value (LOAEL, NOAEL etc.));
Reference value (ARfD, ADI etc.); and
Safety factor

The users can download  the above data for each individual chemical hazard in xlsx, csv or pdf format.
This database will be expanded to other chemical substances evaluated by the FSCJ and updated on a regular basis.
