The Food Safety Commission of Japan and the European Food Safety Authority have exchanged the Memorandum of Cooperation

 

The Food Safety Commission of Japan (FSCJ) and the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) signed and exchanged the Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) in December 2009, renewed the MoC in October 2015 and revised the MoC in June 2023.

The aim of the MoC is to enhance the scientific cooperation and dialogue between EFSA and FSCJ in the fields of data collection and data sharing related to risk assessment for food safety.
